After years of supporting Detroit small businesses in business plan development and product development, Jessica Bondalapati launched her consultancy to help fill in the “growth gaps” needed to take Detroit businesses and organizations to the next level. Her services include operations improvement, program development, and balance coaching for entrepreneurs. She enjoys providing a customized approach to each client by understanding individual needs and working on a plan everyone feels confidant in executing.

In 2015, she was named a Next City Network Urban Innovator and an American Express and Ashoka Changemakers Emerging Innovator for her work with Build Institute, an entrepreneurship training and support program. She also served as the Kiva Zip micro-loan fellow for Detroit.

She’s written for Model D Media and Forward Cities on topics including local investment, ethical redevelopment, placemaking, and affordable housing, and a front cover spread for Conscious Company Magazine highlighting six innovators redesigning Detroit.

Rieanna Stewart

Consultant

Rieanna Stewart has lived in Detroit close to a decade, between university and starting her career, and was raised in Metro-Detroit, Michigan. She fell in love with the city of Detroit and its residents while studying, living, and working on Wayne State University’s campus.

She has created efficient processes and structures in her professional roles, developed new products and services, and supported organizational strategy program development. Some of her favorite projects as a professional are software implementations and creating systems that help businesses and leaders guarantee long-term sustainability. All of her work is approached with an ideology that you must ensure people are centered in the process; without compassion for the people behind the process, things just fail. With a B.S. in Business Management and a background in nonprofit management, event planning, business operations, finance, and customer service, many say she is known to get the job done.

Pre-pandemic, she can be found at various community events, shopping at her favorite local businesses, mentoring college students, or volunteering for political campaigns which support anti-racist policies. While she excels at staying busy professionally, she is equally passionate about being outdoors, traveling, holistic wellness approaches, and cooking.

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, compassion, some humor, and some style.
